Boosting public transportation, domestic "HED chips" access the Macau market of interconnectivity
As one of co-organizers of 2015 China’s Annual Citizen Cards Development Conference, and jointly with its subsidiary - Shanghai Huahong Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huahong Design”), CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HED) exhibited solutions at the Zhuhai international conference and exhibition center on November 9 - 11, 2015, including financial public transportation card, dual-interface bank card, online trading terminal for public transportation industry application online trading terminal for financial IC card and mobile payment, etc., in order to create an internet-based chip-level integration solution for the cross-industry application of urban public transportation, finance and mobile payment. And meanwhile, HED released the news in the conference for the first time that its public transportation products had been used in Macau, which opened a new chapter to public transport interconnection between the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
On Nov. 11, Liu Ying, the HED director of common Identification product line, made a speech titled as "focusing on chips to go ahead, HED chips boost the smart IOT" in the forum of "Diversity, Integration and Development: Innovative Scenario Speeds up a smart life". As the leading chip vender in China’s field of urban public transport smart card system, HED has always been actively supporting various works of smart city construction introduced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development over the years, participated in and witnessed projects of more than 30 cities in China to achieve interconnectivity of urban public transport. Now, HED and Huahong Design is integrated into an organic whole through the win-win co-operation, and committed to creating more comprehensive, safe, reliable and convenient products and services for customers.
In this year, HED products are successfully applied in Macao’s interconnectivity project, and for the first time, the public transport interconnectivity is achieved between Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan and mainland China, which is another landmark breakthrough for China’s urban public transport. On November 12, HED organized the "Interconnectivity into Macau" activity jointly with MOHURD IC Card Service Center, Macau Pass Co., Ltd. and Macau University of Science and Technology, and moved the annual conference to Macau University of Science and Technology, where an in-depth discussion was made on how to construct a "smart Macau" jointly. This event attracted extensive attention from all walks of life, and participants include Shung-Te Kao, the ministerial assistant of ministry of economic affairs, the liaison office of the central people’s government in the Macao special administrative region, representatives from Macau Bureau of Finance, Macau Bureau of transportation Affairs, Macau Bureau of Trade and Investment Promotion, Macau Bureau of Telecommunications Administration and other government bodys, and representatives from all communication operators, all public service bodys and some interconnectivity cities, etc.. And in the conference again, Liu Ying, the HED director of common identification product line, made a wonderful speach titled as "Meeting you in the most beautiful moment, HED chips meet in macau" , who won a round of applause and praise from the site audience for her brilliant contents, excellent voice & affection and humanistic feelings rooted in HED workers.
This trip to Macau is the first time for HED to walk out of the mainland and into the Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan regions with a public transport card of built-in "China chip", and also the public welfare activities benefiting and favorable to the people through popularity and spread of interconnectivity public transport cards. Students are the future of a state, so HED will continue to adhere to the culture and philosophy of "we design the future" to develop the "HED chips" into China’s most powerful ones for smart interconnectivity.
